Buyer terms

BagsyThat is a listing, reservation and record-keeping platform operated personally in Kenya. The seller identified by each shop supplies its items. Any purchase agreement is directly between buyer and seller; BagsyThat is not a party to that item sale and is not acting as either party's sales agent.

Payments for listed items go directly to the seller. BagsyThat does not collect, hold, process or independently verify these payments or refunds. We do not provide escrow, buyer protection or guarantees of payment, refunds or fulfilment. Statuses are based on information submitted by the buyer or recorded by the seller.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. Starting checkout temporarily holds selected available items for 15 minutes. Submitting transaction details creates a reservation awaiting the seller's review; submission alone is not confirmation of payment or acceptance of a sale. The seller reviews the details and confirms the arrangement. Check the order summary and contact the seller if anything is unclear. The checkout hold expires if you do not complete submission.

Check the seller, payment recipient, item condition, availability and collection arrangements. Deposits vary by item and are shown before submission. Agree any cancellation, deposit return or refund arrangements with the seller before paying. Do not send payment to the platform for an item. For contact-only listings, arrange viewing and payment directly with the seller.

The buyer arranges and pays for collection unless agreed otherwise with the seller. Contact the seller first about defects, missing items, cancellation, disputed payments or refunds. Report suspected fraudulent listings or misuse of the platform to the operator. Reporting does not guarantee recovery or substitute for appropriate reports to authorities.

The downloadable document is an order summary, not an invoice or independently verified proof of payment. Amounts and statuses reflect submitted and seller-recorded information.

Listings are provided by sellers; BagsyThat does not inspect goods or independently verify their condition, ownership, authenticity, safety or availability. The platform may have interruptions or errors. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuse our own unlawful conduct, or remove applicable consumer or data-protection rights. Kenyan law applies, subject to mandatory rights. You may seek remedies from competent authorities or courts.

Read the privacy notice before submitting personal details. Use the service only if you are 18 or older and able to enter the relevant arrangement, or have an adult make the arrangement for you. Keep private order links confidential.
